Hey, this is my first time sharing a print, and I'm a begginer on fusion360/FPV/3Dprinting, any tips, help, advices, and critics are welcomed :)
I tried (and succeed!) at making a canopy that could fit my o4 lite with a flywoo wide lens mod (first gen) and an axisflying metal case/heatsink.
UPDATE 22/02/2026 : Even stronger, cleaner, easier to print version ! (green one on the pictures)
What I think is cool with this model :
- it's the only one I could find meeting these requirements
- it's less than 1 gram heavier than the standard canopy for the O4pro
- pretty durable, broke it 1 time, redesigned it and never broke since. broke it again redesigned it again, seems to be the best i can do now. Broke it again again redesigned it again lol.
- well ventilated
- antena isnt locked in its chimney, so in case of a crash it retracts and it gets back in position
- Public domain, step file free to use
Camera angles : 7.125° 17.125° 27.125° 37.125° 47.125°
Instaling guide :
I designed it so I could mount the vtx at a 45° angle, just as the AIO FC/ESC, it moreover fits in the fc, propguard and frame holes wich allows to put M2x20 screws from the VTX to the propguard.
First step : drone fully built except to the canopy and vtx
Second step : remove the 4 M2 screws going frome the frame to the propguard
Third step : put the VTX on top of the frame so its mounting holes are above the fc, propguard and frame holes, at a 45° angle clockwise so the antenna and usb-c port are on the left side of the drone
Fourth step : screw the M2x20 screws from the VTX to the propguard : from to to bottom, the screws should go through : VTX - frame - M2 nut - gummies - FC - prop guard
Fifth step : put the inserts on the canopy bottom holes (I reused the ones from the original canopy)
Sixth step : Put the antena in its hole as you install the canopy in its place
Seventh step : screw the canopy in place with the original screws
Last step : screw the camera with the original 4 screws
My print settings :
print 45°, with support (trees work better), infill 25% gyro, 0.4mm head, 0.2mm layer height, PLA or PETG
