Description
This is not a groundbreaking idea — many similar solutions already exist. My goal was to create a modification that does not require alternative screws and keeps structural changes to a minimum.

Warning❗ This modification is not intended for frequent full-extension use. When fully extended, the tapered drawer rails create noticeable friction, making the movement stiffer. Consider carefully whether this solution fits your needs.
Installation Steps
Place the Distance and Groove parts into the drawer slot. They serve as guides for accurate drilling.
Drill the holes using an 8 mm drill bit. Keep the drill perpendicular to ensure clean, precise holes.
Cut the slot open. I used a cordless multifunction tool (PAMFW), but any suitable tool will work.
Clean and lightly sand the slot if needed. The Insert part should slide in comfortably but still fit snugly.
Glue the Insert part in place. I used Pattex Fix. Insert the Block part while the glue cures to maintain the correct slot width.
Place the Roller part onto the screw.
Slide the drawer into the rails and fasten the screws. Tighten the screws only lightly — the part must have enough freedom to move within the slot. Over‑tightening the screw may damage the Insert part.
⚠ Usage Note
Full extension and retraction require noticeably more force. This is a limitation of the ALEX rail design, not a defect of the printed parts.
