Important: there are 2 options that mount to the cc2, one is the pipe which allows you to use ALL/Any of the MODULAR system, the other is just a connection to go from the cc2 to what ever ducting you have, this does not allow any of the modular system to be used, as its direct to duct
This is my first time designing somthing in cad and its certainly my first time uploading somthing here! I hope you like what ive made
The exhaust fan on the CC2 even tho its now a 120mm fan is still a bit weak and noisy, also the in built hepa filter is only used for the filaments that need it, i wanted some more options, so i made this
First of all the exhaust is as wide as possible for max airflow, it also is vertical so even when the fan is off or on low the natural tendency for heat to rise helps with air flow
once we clear the pipe we have options, you can just use the pipe as is, you can mount a 120mm fan there to help exaust the fumes/heat or you can mount the duct tip and exaust the exaust out a 100mm duct out a window, i also designed it to use this hepa filter mount

You will need to buy longer screws than mentioned in the above as the exaust panel is thicker than the panels in the design (if you are going the hepa filter rout ofcorse)
Youll also need to order the filters mentioned in the above listing aswell
You then have the option to just vent into the room or you can add on the hepa tip and attach a 100mm duct to it if you still want to exaust it out the window/room
I personally have mine set up with a fan and the hepa filter, the fan is there to help push the air through the filter as the stock fan lacks the pressure to do so creating back preassure
Combine the fan with a PWM controller to adjust the speed of the fan
Ive tried to think of everything you may want with the exaust but am happy to add more if needed
You will need some longer screws, i have used 3x m3x12mm (Philips button head) bolts to attach the pipe.
You can add in 2 magnets at the bottom aswell, 8x3mm rear earth are what ive used to help hold the pipe down
It holds on strong and has made my cc2 quieter and more cleaner to be in the room with
Enjoy the exhaust! I look forward to seeing what you do with it!
Cheers
Version 1 Release Version
Version 2 - 1st update
Added - charcoal filter pipe and basket.
Added - CC2 to 100mm streight adapter
Added - CC2 and Pipe/fan and basket interface gaskets
Notes, after a commeter pointed out that activated charcoal is better for reducing VOCs i decided to make a filter for the system, as the system is modular this can be installed between the fan and the hepa box or inbetween the fan and an exaust tip or just after fan, or in place of the fan if your just using the inbuilt cc2 fan. Attach the bit of pipe then fill the basket with as much or as little activated carbon as you want, you may need to put a mesh in the baske depending on the size of yoir activated carbon. I personally run the carbon when i vent into the room and remove it when im using the pipe to vent outside. Its modular, do what you want, it all fits together!
If you dont want any of the piping or filters just use the cc2 to 100mm duct and go right out the back and into ducting
Ive also provided some gaskets to help seal the whole thing, print them in tpu and place them between all the interfaces for better sealing!
V2.1 added 150mm outputs to all outputs, can now output to air/room or output to a 100mm or 150mm duct
V2.2 raised uo the distance for the 150mm cc2 output by 30mm, is now 50mm high from cc2, also added an 8mm hole to make screwing in screw easier. Once installed just cover with tape to seal
V2.3 added 120mm outputs to all outputs and added a hole-less version of the 150mm cc2 duct
v2.4 added 125mm outputs
Hope you enjoy If you have any more ideas let me know in the comments
