I designed this to work with "whiteeeen 4pcs USB Type C Breakout Board Red with Male Pin Header 2 CC" USB-C breakout boards to avoid shorting out the pins. These PCBs appear to be a clone of the "SparkFun USB-C Breakout - Horizontal" PCBs and this model may work for those as well.

Hardware Requirements:

  • M3x5x4 Heat Insert - 2

  • M3x8 BHCS (Button Head Cap Screw) - 2

Assembly:

  1. Flip the bottom case upside down and insert the two Heat Inserts from the bottom and wait for them to cool.

  2. Insert the PCB into the bottom case

  3. Push/snap the top case into the bottom case ensuring everything stayed aligned

  4. Insert the two M3x8 BHCS screws to hold everything together.
