My new Sodastream Terra was constantly releasing pressure through the left release valve, as of the first press, while pressing, and way before the bottle was partially (not even fully) carbonated.
I read online it should make a 'fart-sound' when there's enough carbonation (because that means the valve is opening). So usually you fix it by turning the left valve's 'Size 5 Allen Key, Hex Insert' tighter to compress the spring inside for more resistance.
Turns out mine was glued in place, so trying to tighten it cracked the black piece (which was also glued in place). Of course, there's no replacement part available. I've made a plug with custom thread using the Fusion360 XML for custom threadsizes and it fits great. Make sure you screw in the plug far enough, otherwise it will spray water.
I seem to not yet have fixed the issue completely by replacing just this part, however it's way better and at least now there's a replacement part available to print. I made an insert and it fits as well, but need to test it in the machine first. Unfortunately I can't upload video here, so refer to: https://imgur.com/a/0RJA7kX . As you can hear it's still bleeding through the left valve (thumb press to confirm).
