The "Thrifty" KX2 Desk Stand is a simple, functional desk stand designed specifically for the Elecraft KX2 transceiver.
The design supports the KX2 using shoulder screws (see Additional Supplies). An opening helps keep the radio’s internal speaker unobstructed. This model was created as a practical replacement for a discontinued commercial desk stand, the Nifty Accessories Elecraft KX2 Desk Stand, redesigned from scratch for personal use.
Additional Supplies
Rubber feet are recommended to prevent movement on desk.
Screws needed to mount KX2: 18-8 Stainless Steel Precision Shoulder Screw
1/8" Shoulder Diameter, 1/4" Shoulder Length, 4-40 Size, 5/32" Thread Length (94035A515)
