# Mod10 Side Mount Bracket - For Wider Switches & Devices

An accessory for the Modular 10" Server Rack! - Mod10 by @MandicReally

Got a TP-Link switch (or other device) that's wider than 10 inches? This side mount bracket lets you mount oversized switches and equipment to the side panels of the Mod10 rack using cage nuts, keeping your wider gear secure and your rack organized.

## 🔹 Problem This Solves:

The Mod10 is designed for 10-inch rack equipment (200mm front-to-back), but many consumer and prosumer switches—especially from TP-Link, Netgear, and others—are wider than standard 10" rack width. This bracket mounts to the side panels of the Mod10, giving you a stable platform for switches that won't fit in the front-mounted cage nut positions.

## ✅ Features:

* Side Panel Mounting – Uses standard cage nuts on the Mod10's vertical side panels

* Supports Wider Devices – Perfect for switches and gear that exceed 10" rack width

* Tested with TP-Link Switch TL-SG1024S – Designed specifically for TP-Link switch TL-SG1024S with room on both sides 

## 📌 Suggested Print Settings:

These are general recommendations for functional brackets - adjust based on your printer and material

* Nozzle: 0.4mm

* Layer Height: 0.2mm or 0.15mm for smoother finish

* Walls: 3-4 perimeters for strength

* Infill: 25-40% (any pattern)

* Material: PETG, ASA, or PLA+ (anything suitable for the Mod10)

* Supports: None required
