This is modeled for the popular ceiling fan remote TR357A used by Hunter, Harbor Breeze, and Home Decorators (plus you can buy the remote / receiver for any fan). The original wall mount that comes with the remote is this cheap, weak little thing that only holds the bottom of the remote and feels like you're gonna break it by even touching the buttons. This mount makes wall contact behind the entire remote so there is no flexing / breaking when pushing the buttons. The open face makes button access easy while the high lipped sides securely lock the remote into place. With the flat, vented bottom you can use it as a stand on a shelf and just pick the whole thing up when using (model feels good in the hand does not require you to remove the remote to use). Or if you wish, there are two screw holes for mounting on a vertical surface and allows for the screw head to stay flush. The back of the mount is flat and wide, so you can use command strips / double sided tape if you wish. There are many different options / configurations of this remote, so you may need to measure your particular remote and scale the model appropriately. I printed this in TPU because I like the feel and the ability to bend if someone bumps into it but PETG would also be a great option. I added both the .3mf file as well as the .fsd file if anyone wants to tinker with it. Happy Printing :)
