E210/2019+ Corolla Dashcam Battery Underseat Mount

A 2-piece mounting bracket to secure a dashcam's external battery under the driver's seat of the E210/2019+ Corolla. Ideally, for those without the JBL Premium Audio package

Only using Velcro to mount a dashcam battery to the vehicle's carpet may cause the Velcro to rip away from the carpet. To avoid that, this mount will secure it to the OEM bolt holes on the driver's seat crossbar that were intended for the JBL amplifier. 

Since this is a 2-piece design, you could use the baseplate and design your own bracket for different vehicles as well. For the Corolla, use the 2-foot model since there is a raised surface where the left side of the baseplate will sit. For other vehicles, you can use the 4-foot model.

Print Instructions

• Orient the baseplate so that the flat topside is facing the print plate

• Orient the bracket so that the 10mm sides are facing the print plate

Assembly

Note: You can complete the install without removing the seat, but to give yourself more room, I'd recommend doing so. Just disconnect your 12V battery's negative terminal or remove the 30A D/C Cut Fuse to avoid potentially deploying the airbags.

1. Insert 2 threaded inserts into the 4.5mm holes on the baseplate

2. Insert 2 threaded inserts into the 4.5mm holes on the bracket

3. Apply 3M Dual Lock to the external battery and the top face of the baseplate

4. Insert an M3 screw, washer, and corner brace hole into each threaded insert

5. Apply insulation tape to the side of the bracket connecting to the baseplate to prevent the battery from rattling against the bracket

6. Attach the battery to the baseplate, connecting the 3M Dual Lock tape

7. Insert an M6-1.0x20mm bolt and M6 washer into the bracket

8. Fasten the M6 bolts to the vehicle's crossbar
