IFS mounting bracket for the Flashforge AD5X. Just a single printable piece that can replace the original bracket.

Supports are needed under the four tabs. Be warned they can be tricky to remove. Using Normal-Snug type supports can make their removal considerably easier, but it's still a bit of a fight.

Materials:
- ABS is the recommended material.
- PETG works, but increasing the wall count is highly recommended.
- PLA should be fine as long as your IFS is outside of your enclosure (if you have one).

There are several versions available, with two factors distinguishing different versions. (If you want as close as possible to the original, you want the "Fixed", not-extended one.)

• “Fixed” vs “Adjustable”. The “Fixed” versions have circular screw holes that must line up correctly. This may not be ideal with certain custom mounts. The “Adjustable” versions replace these holes with slots, that allow for left-right adjustment and/or imperfect alignment of the screw holes on the surface being mounted to.

• "Countersunk". These have holes intended for use with countersunk screws. Versions for both 82° and 90° countersinks are provided, or you can generate others from the FreeCAD source file.

• “Extended” versions. These have a larger distance between the screw holes and the IFS mounting bracket. Versions with an extension of 10mm, 20mm and 30mm are provided.

The FreeCAD source file is also provided, where several of the attributes (thickness, extended version extension length, adjustable version slot length, and countersink angle) can be changed parametrically. Check the property tooltips for notes on min / max values and other usage notes.
