The REV - Rotatable Exhaust Vent
My PC sits directly under a wall-thermostat, which results in wrong temperature readings from the rising heat. To combat this, I created this exhaust vent that can screw onto the back exhaust of the PC and redirect the heat in a different direction.
Fits perfectly over 120mm fans, with standard hole spacing of 105mm.
Printing
The collar can be printed with screw mounts away from the print bed, to reduce supports.
The vent should be printed as shown below - supports are needed, but this orientation keeps them at a minimum.
I recommend printing the collar with around 4 wall loops to increase holding strength.
Mounting
Fit the collar over the vent so that both "rings" fit together. The vent is sized so the vent can fit through with a bit of pressure.
Usual M5 fan screws can be used to mount the vent and collar assembly.
When mounted, the vent can spin freely to your desired position and is held in place by friction.
