This model now includes BOTH mg90s servo and the higher operating temp FT90M servo compatibility!

The MG90S mount, arms and entire .step have also been updated.

The FeeTech FT90M is the same servo that is used with the Nevermore Stealthmax(v2), and is readily found online. While I have been using the MG90S without issue (so far..), I would recommend using the other option for use in a heated chamber as it is rated for higher operating temperatures.

It will work with or without gantry backers on a Voron 2.4 or Trident. If setup correctly, there will be virtually no strain on the servo.

You will need the following:

MG90S:

m3x6 x1

m3x8 x1

m2x8 self-tapping plastic screws x2

Optional: m2.5x4 or m2.5x6 screw for servo, but you should be able to use the provided screw that comes with it.

FT90M:

m3x6 x1

m3x8 x1

m2x8 self-tapping plastic screws x2

Optional: m2x4 or m2x6 screw for servo, but you should be able to use the provided screw that comes with it.

Printing:

This model requires pretty tight support settings. I added pics of my support settings that work well for me in case you're having trouble and want somewhere to start. The models should import to the slicer with the correct orientation.

I created the model based off of my profile which has shrinkage compensation so I'd scale x/y by 0.05% if you don't have your shrinkage tuned and you're printing in ABS/ASA

Initial setup:

For setup/testing, go ahead and wire the servo and set it up in AFC or HH. I've only used AFC so your setup may be different with HH. Then, place the arm in housing and then insert the servo. It should fit snug without the need for the self-tapping screws while you test. Insert the servo screw and turn it one or two times, ensuring it is not tight.  Set your servo angle to 180 degrees. Ensure the depressor arm is firmly stowed, and tighten the screw. I use a stow angle of 175 and deploy of 15, for reference. The holes at the rear are for wire management from the servo using 1.75 filament.
