In order to place the printed HDD cages in the case the metal HDD and optical bays need to be removed. This is a little annoying and requires the removal of several rivets with a drill. The front I/O needs to be removed, since the cable is too short to route it past the cages once they are installed. I used the three holes in the floor of the case to secure the bottom_left_bracket to the case. You can also use the front mesh and secure the HDD cages to it with some screws.

I assembled the HDD cages using x6 2.6mm x  8mm screws per cage module at the dovetail connections. I did not use the other screw holes since the amount i used was more than sufficient.

For the front panel i printed two new slot covers where the optical drive usually sits, in order to allow for airflow over the drives located at the top.

I cut a 307mm x 58mm opening into the side panel so that the SAS connectors have space and then printed a cover for this opening. The HDD side panel cover mask can be used as a drill guide for the holes. The cover is secured with M4 screws, max length would be ~15mm.

I also designed HDD sleds and a 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch adapter.
