This handhold is designed as a near drop-in replacement for the Harken handholds, used on boats like the Soling and Yngling. It is modeled to match the original as closely as possible, but there may be small deviations, so it is a good idea to double check the technical drawing, especially the hole spacing, width, and length before installing.
A spacer is included, so you can bolt the handhold through the deck and tighten it from underneath if needed.
If you are replacing an existing Harken handhold, you can usually just reuse the old screws. If you prefer to bolt it instead, use M4 stainlessbolts in a length that fits your deck thickness.
I printed it in PETG, as it is pretty UV-stable, an UV-stable material would be preferred if you are printing this, as sailboats are exposed to tremendous amounts of UV.
