Been seeing videos of everybody putting rims on their garbage cans. So i made some for myself. These are my version of some Dodge wheels.
This print is 3 parts so there is no need for supports or multi material system.
This wheel snapps right into the wheel / tire of my garbage can. Only thing glued was the ceter cap. My wheels have a 7 1/2" inset that tapers down to 7". There is also a 1/2" lip.
I printed these with Inland dual color Purple/Gold PLA.
I printed at 0.2mm layer height for everything, but a lower layer height will look better.
For the center cap a pause was added to the last layer to change color for the Dodge stripes. I also ironed the topmost layer only to give the stripes a nice finish.
Total print time for all 3 parts printed individualy was 1.5 to 2 hours.
