Keyboard Switch Fidget V2 — Bigger, Better, Quieter to print
The satisfying clicky fidget is back, rebuilt from scratch.
If you've seen (or printed) the original Keyboard Switch Fidget, you know the concept: a palm-sized 3D printed body that holds real mechanical keyboard switches, turning them into a tactile, clicky fidget toy you can carry anywhere. This is Version 2: same addictive idea, completely redesigned.
What's new in V2?
Revised dimensions: every size has been reworked to feel more balanced and comfortable in the hand. The shape is now more symmetrical and the chamfered edges make it much easier to grip.
Better sound: the geometry has been tuned so the switches resonate more cleanly inside the body. That click hits different.
Flat printing: no more printing at an angle. V2 prints flat on the bed and comes out clean every time, no supports needed, no risk of the print tipping over mid-job.
5 sizes to choose from, so you can match it to your hand, your switch count preference, or just your mood:

How it works
Just
press-fit your favorite MX-compatible keyboard switches into the
housing. No screws, no glue. Swap them out whenever you want to try a
different feel: linears for smooth, tactiles for the bump, clicky for
maximum satisfaction (or maximum coworker annoyance).
Print settings
Material: PLA works great. PETG if you want a bit more flex.
Layer height: 0.2mm recommended
Infill: 15–20% is plenty
Supports: Not needed, that's the whole point of V2
Orientation: Flat on the bed, largest face down
