As some others I spent a long time trying to find a good way for stroring resistors and found the aproach from @JohnOldman.

With additional inpiration from @KWECustoms_2741705 for lager tubes fitting nicely into gridfinity units.

My design variation uses the 4-to-3 gridfinity adaption and tubes with a footprint of 24mm but with a height so that the tubes with lids and gridfinity bin together have a heigt of 12U gridfinity.

Design goal was to use vase mode for the tube an lids so I changed the holes for the snap in favor for notches.

Printing Instructions

For the tubes and lids, it is crucial to print them with a line width of 0.8mm (0.6mm may also work). This usually works very well with 0.4 mm nozzles in vase mode.

I also attach 3MF files with sequential printing 16 tubes in vase mode on a CoreOne+ and 12 lids on a Mini+ for reference (but slice it your self with your dialed in settings).

For some speed optimization I seeked the filament cooling limit because theses parts are so small speed depends sole on cooling. In my case I got down to 5 sec on the Mini+ (55min printing 12 lids on full mini+ bed) and down to 2 sec on the CoreOne+ (3h 51min 16 tubes on full CoreOne+ bed) for the tubes.
