Some tools don't need reinventing—they just need preserving.
This shoehorn was inspired by the timeless designs that have helped people slip into their shoes for generations. Rather than creating something flashy or overly complicated, I wanted to capture the elegance and practicality of a traditional shoehorn while making it accessible through modern 3D printing.
The matching stand transforms a simple everyday tool into something worthy of display. Instead of disappearing into a drawer, the shoehorn remains organized, accessible, and ready for daily use in an entryway, mudroom, bedroom, or closet.
My goal with this project was to blend old-world functionality with modern manufacturing. The result is a design that feels familiar, comfortable, and purposeful while being easy for makers around the world to print for themselves.
Features

In a world full of disposable products, this project celebrates a simple household tool that has stood the test of time. I hope you'll enjoy printing it as much as I enjoyed designing it.
If you print one, please share your make—I would love to see it in its new home.
