This mod only works with the MT5. I designed it after realizing that no one had made one before, and I didn't want to spend money on two expensive levers just to get the preload adjustment on my brake.
This mod is designed for the 2-finger lever. I haven't been able to test it with any other lever type, so compatibility with other versions is unknown.
If you're on a budget or simply don't want to spend around $70 on new levers, you can use super glue to attach this mod.
Installation
Slide off the strain relief, or install the brake without it. (This might not be the best idea. If I find that it causes any issues or damages the brake, I'll update the description with a warning.)
Clip the hose clamp onto the brake hose and slide it over the metal fitting at the end of the hose.
Rough up the plastic surface at the end of the brake lever to help the glue bond better.
Apply super glue to the brake lever clip and attach it to the lever.
Screw an M3×20 mm screw into the hole in the brake lever clip.
Adjust the bite point to your preference.
