This is a modification to the 7th/Reverse Lockout to make it easier to hold and engage while still not interfering with any function.
A hole is added to the top of the handle for easier access to the screw with a hex key. The screw must be tightened a decent amount more to resist twisting.
A reverse lockout mechanism for SHH Shifter Hubb (and presumably the Thorn as well as they share top plates).
Additional parts: 2 M3x20mm bolts(hinges), 3 M3x8mm bolt(handle, rubber band pegs), 3 M3 nuts, and 1 rubber band.
PRINT SETTINGS (tested on Bambu Labs P1S):
I recommend printing in PETG for its toughness and lower friction. Some of my tests with PLA, the edge where the shifter rod contacts the plate will wear down over time, while PETG slides more easily and has no noticeable wear.
Gyroid infill 15%
0.8mm layer height (or smallest available for best possible feel in hands)
60mm/s outer wall speed (or otherwise reduced for increased accuracy)
For handle only: Tree supports enabled on build plate only. There are some short supports needed near the base for the slight off angle. This angle is to give just enough clearance for the shift knob.
