Tired of Paying for Cheap End Caps?
I wanted an end cap to protect myself from catching the edge of a frame I built out of 8020. I also wanted something that I could pressfit into place without having to tap or secure.
Designed for a Tight Fit
These may not be the easiest to push in and remove by design. I wanted a very tight tolerance for a couple reasons; One to keep water out as much as possible for an outdoor installation and to have a thicker end cap than the ones available from other manufacturers to protect myself from catching the edge. This cap can be tapped in with a rubber mallet and holds well without any parts to secure it.
End Caps
I designed a few of the styles of the 10 series end caps for myself. I would consider doing more if there is interest. Let me know. So far I have posted for the 1010, 1003, and 1004 profiles. Let me know if you have and I'll design some up if there is enough interest.
Bump Cap
The bump cap was designed to have excessive coverage. I didn't use it in my design as I like the clean look of the end caps but thought to post it anyways if you had a need for it.
