Recommended material: PLA, PETG, or ABS (PLA is ideal for maintaining text sharpness).
Nozzle: 0.4 mm.
Infill: 15%–20% (Giroid or Cubic pattern).
Support structures: No supports required! The design is geometrically optimized with 45° chamfers to be printed directly on the bed.
Bed Adhesion (Critical for the Cylinder)
Enable “Brim” type: “Outer” only for the cylindrical handle.
Brim width: 5 mm.
Brim-to-object spacing: 0.1 mm (so it can be easily removed with your fingers without leaving burrs).
Wall order: Select Outer/Inner. This ensures that the nozzle maintains a tolerance of 0.15 mm to 0.2 mm from the insertion channel before the filament pushes the plastic.
Variable Layer Height (Adaptive): Enable to smooth the curves of the chamfers and achieve good resolution in the “45 LB” numbers, while maintaining standard layers on the straight walls to save time.
Wall Generator: Switch to Arachne.
Smoothing (Ironing): Enable for “All top surfaces.”
Outer Wall Speed: Reduce to 60–80 mm/s to prevent colors from blending or becoming misaligned in the letter details.
Color Optimization: Enable “Purge in Object Fill” to hide filament transitions inside the keychain and reduce waste.
