I love @DaveinTXK_1463626's design for the Qidi Box shelf, but don't have access to cheap aluminum extrusions. Since the weight of the Qidi Box doesn't seem to be focused on the centre of the shelf, I printed crossbeam bars to see if it would suffice.
Obviously my print bed doesn't support 350mm long prints, so I had to chop up the beam into smaller pieces that would be assembled after. The dovetail joints seem to do a good job of keeping the assembled parts pretty rigid, but just in case I secured them with 8x1" screws I had in my toolbox.
