Community members suggested creating a docking station for people who don't have access to MagSafe, so I made one.
This is a simple cable dock that allows your phone to be charged from either side, depending on how you want to set it up.
The dock is currently designed around slim phone cases, such as the Mous Super Thin case. I appreciate that there are countless different phone cases available, so designing a version for every case thickness and shape isn't practical. If there is enough interest, I may explore versions that accommodate a wider range of case thicknesses in the future.
The main challenge is keeping the phone correctly centred within the dock. Without a magnetic connection to hold the phone in position, changing the case thickness changes how the phone sits within the cutout, which can cause it to sit too high or too low rather than remaining correctly aligned.

Base: Rubber backing applied to the bottom of the dock to prevent it from sliding on the surface.
