The cyclone works flawlessly for woodworking; hardly any dust makes its way into the vacuum cleaner. Most other cyclones are mounted on top of the lid, creating a risk of them breaking off. This cyclone is integrated into the lid, making the unit compact. I remixed the cyclone to fit Kärcher's 35mm tapered system and installed it in a tall 50L clamping-ring drum. I didn't install the gasket; if you do install it, tighten the screws carefully.
My Remix: I scaled the parts to 120.65%, removed the brim, inserted a 35 mm cone at the top, connected the support structure beneath the inlet and created a seal.
