Witch's Cauldron — Bubbling Potion Pot, 60 mm

A fat cauldron with the brew bubbling over the rim — modelled, not implied.

The potion is a dome of bubbles sitting proud of the pot, with a drip running down one side. One

piece, flat bottom, no supports. At 60 % scale it is 60.0 × 60.0 × 58.6 mm and about 45 g of PLA —

the heaviest of the eight, and it feels it.

The photos are a real print of this file at 60 % scale, orange PLA, unpainted.

What is measured, not guessed

- Solid — 526.1 cm³ in the file, 54 % of its bounding box. No cavity: this is a paperweight, not a

container. It does not open and you cannot put sweets in it.

- Watertight — zero open edges, zero non-manifold edges, one connected solid, 199 974 triangles.

- Biggest footprint in the set — 1612 mm² at 60 %, on a modelled foot ring. Nothing in this series

stands more firmly.

- No supports. 18.7 % of the surface is past 45°, which sounds like a lot until you look at where:

it is the belly of the pot, a continuous curve that self-supports layer over layer. The largest

actual ceiling is 0.40 cm², under the rim.
