Cold Snap Desk Caddy

Tired of loose penny sleeves sliding around your desk mat or toploaders cluttering your workspace during breaks? The Cold Snap Desk Caddy keeps your primary card supplies upright, sorted, and ready right within arm's reach. Built with a low-profile base and recessed front cutouts, you can pinch and slide a single sleeve or case out smoothly without fumbling or bending any corners.

It fits standard trading card prep workflows cleanly, holding 100+ soft penny sleeves flat against the floor alongside dedicated compartments for standard 35pt rigid toploaders and semi-rigid grading holders (like Card Savers). Choose between the compact Standard daily edition, the expanded Pro Station with built-in stream tool bays, or the high-capacity XL Stream Edition.

Files are open-source and customizable via OpenSCAD under the Cold Front Forge project.

EDITIONS & FILES

• Standard Edition: Compact footprint (170 x 104 mm) holding penny sleeves, ~35 toploaders, and ~45 semi-rigids. Fits nearly any print bed (180 x 180 mm+).

• Pro Station: Streamlined break station (171 x 146 mm) with a deep toploader pocket (~70+), penny sleeves, semi-rigids, and dual rear utility bays for tape, markers, and pull tabs. Prints flat on standard 220 x 215 mm+ beds.

• XL Stream Edition: High-capacity double station (244 x 146 mm) with two flat penny sleeve bays, deep toploader storage, and wide rear tool trays. Requires a 256 x 256 mm+ bed (or 45-degree slicer rotation). Untested physical print due to current machine size limits.

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS

• Orientation: Flat on the build plate (no supports needed).

• Material: PLA, PLA+, or PETG.

• Layer Height: 0.20 mm.

• Walls: 3 or 4 perimeters.

• Infill: 15% Gyroid or Grid.
