Mostly parametric (see the Fusion drawing parameters), 3D-printable Stevenson shield (weather screen) designed in Fusion 360 for an ESP32-based LoRaWAN weather station. Could be used for other purposes too. It protects the BME280 sensor from rain and direct sunlight while ensuring free airflow for accurate temperature and humidity readings. The design features a modular, stackable louver system, an integrated electronics enclosure, and an adjustable solar panel mount.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: White PETG (highly recommended for UV resistance, outdoor durability, and heat reflection).

  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm

  • Infill: 10% Gyroid

  • Supports: Tree supports (required for louvers and lids)

  • Wall Thickness: 1.2 mm (3 perimeters)

  • Clearance: 0.2 mm (already built into the parametric model)

Assembly & Printing Tips:

  1. Test fit first: Print the WallSupport and one StevensonShield louver to verify the bayonet fit before committing to the full print.

  2. Stackable design: The louvers are symmetrical and telescope into each other. Print 3–4 of them depending on your desired sensor height.

  3. Clean the nubs: Carefully remove all support material from the bayonet locking tabs, or the parts will not twist-lock together properly.

  4. Waterproofing: Route the solar panel wiring with a "drip loop" (cable goes down, then up into the enclosure) to prevent capillary water ingress. Seal wiring gaps with hot glue or silicone.
