This is a simple light diffuser for the 3-splotlight version of the Ikea Hektar floor lamp. I found the light from the exposed bulbs too harsh, this is meant to soften the light.
No supports are needed. I printed these in PETG in case the PLA would warp over time from heat, but this might not be necessary. The main flat surface- the 'diffuser' surface- is a single print layer. Set your layer height to 0.2mm and try to make sure you have a nicely calibrated first layer or else this probably won't come out too nicely. And be careful removing the print from the plate as the single layer may be prone to tearing or deforming. Part fits on a Prusa Mini print bed.
There are two versions, one with large tabs and one with small tabs. Technically the small tabs will use less material, but this is already a pretty small print. The pictures of my print used the large tabs.
Print settings:
PETG (PLA might work but may deform over time due to heat)
0.2mm layer height (very important so that the diffuser is only 1 layer thick- you don't want it to block too much light)
