Gridfinity 1x1 Flashlight Holder – Wuben E7 + Fenix E01

A compact Gridfinity 1x1 bin that keeps two EDC lights standing upright and ready to grab: the Wuben E7 right-angle flashlight and the Fenix E01 V2.0 AAA keychain light. An optional version adds a pocket for a spare AAA battery for the Fenix.

The Wuben E7 sits in a 24 x 34 mm shaft: a 24 x 24 mm square for the body plus a tapered pocket for the pocket clip, so the light drops in with the clip attached. The Fenix E01 goes in head down into a 16 mm hole. Its tail with the keyring hole sticks up and works as a handle, and an attached split ring is no problem.

All pockets fit into a single 1x1 grid by placing the lights in opposite corners. The bin is a solid block with the pockets cut in. It has no stacking lip, because the lip would cut into the pockets.

• Walls: 3. The walls around the Fenix are only 1.0 mm thick, so check in the slicer preview that they come out solid.

• Infill: 10 %, gyroid

• Top/bottom layers: 4

• Brim: not needed

• Magnets: press or glue them into the holes after printing.

Tips

• Fit test: cut off the top 8 mm in your slicer and print just that frame first. It takes a few minutes and shows whether everything fits before you print the whole bin.

• The Wuben shaft is 24 mm wide, which matches the light's listed body width, so the fit is snug. Print the fit test above before the whole bin.

• The Wuben shaft has 2.75 mm rounded vertical corners. If your light has sharper edges, test the fit first.

• Magnet versions: the Wuben E7 has a magnetic tail, and one base magnet sits under its shaft, about 3.5 mm below the floor. Depending on polarity it may pull the light down slightly or push it up a little. If it bothers you, flip that magnet when gluing it in. In the AAA versions another magnet sits under the battery pocket and gently holds the battery's steel can.
