This key protection grid for the Logitech MX Keys is designed for individuals experiencing hand tremors or a loss of motor precision. It allows users to rest their hands entirely on the keyboard without effort and precisely guides the finger to the right key, preventing simultaneous or accidental keystrokes.
✨ Ergonomics & Design
Angled Wrist Rest & Horizontal Keyboard: Features an integrated angled wrist rest, but intentionally keeps the keyboard perfectly horizontal to prevent any sharp bending of the wrist angle.
Circular Guiding Cutouts: The keyholes are circular (not square) to eliminate unpleasant sharp edges and naturally guide the finger toward the center of the key.
100% 3D Printable & Modular: Zero extra hardware required. The model is split into 9 parts to fit the smallest printers on the market (down to 120mm). The entire kit can be printed on 6 standard 180x180mm build plates (e.g., Prusa Mini), or just 2 large 360x360mm plates (e.g., Prusa XL).
🛠 Print Instructions
Main Material: PLA using standard print settings.
The 8 Grip Circles: Can be printed in PLA by default, but printing them in PETG is highly recommended to provide better grip for the device.
Supports: A tiny amount of support is needed for certain parts, but it represents a very low volume of material.
Adhesion: Using a brim is strictly required to prevent any risk of the flat plates warping.
