This is a modern and sleek alternative to mounting your IKEA Skådis. (and Uppspel)
In comparison to the original nubs/screws that came included, these mounts with a countersunk M4 screw in the center of the Skådis holes. Then they can be covered up with a cap that snaps into place and hides the screw. Resulting in a sleek and minimalistic look.
It also has all of the necessary cutouts to make it compatible with the included spacers/braces. Tolerances are generally between 0,15 mm and 0,30 mm depending on the part.
Nozzle:
- 0,4 mm no need for a smaller one!
Layer height:
- 0,2 mm for the mount is generally good enough. (if not, go smaller)
- 0,1 mm for the cap/cover for the best finish and “snap”.
At least 3 perimeter and 100% infill is also recommended.
*Note: Depending on material and other factors the cover clips might break, if you remove it from the mount. In addition the cover can be hard but not impossible to remove.
