It's a dish... For soap. It's a soap dish! And it's got a silly-looking nozzle.

UPDATE 6sep2022: Added a small notch below the nozzle to minimize surface tension dragging soapy water in under the dish.
----------
Not much to say about this one other than this is the soap dish I personally always wanted. So naturally I had to make it. So here it is. :)
It's got a funny little nozzle that allows excess water to drain out. And to help it along, the bottom inside of the dish is sloped towards the nozzle.
Naturally the top part has a nice cutout for the soap and pretty much all of the parts are beveled for a nice soft look and feel. Please appreciate that smooth beveling… It took me a loooooong time (and several redesigns) to get that correct!
Printing instructions
- I printed it in PETG but I'm sure PLA will work well too.
- 0.2 mm layer height suggested. You could try 0.1 mm if you want a smoother inside slope, but I tried that and the entire thing came out very stringy so… PETG just doesn't seem to play nicely with sub-0.2 mm layer height.
- I suggest either printing the gcode directly or slicing from the provided 3mf files. I've been tweaking it quite a bit to ensure it's watertight.
