The original Raspberry Pi Model B (non plus version) has different mounting holes than any later version. To mount it to the official Raspberry Pi 7 inch Touchscreen, you can use this adapter.
Software Hints
In case, you are having issues to run X on the Raspberry Pi 1, i.e. startx fails, make sure to not have the DRM VC4 V3D driver active in your /boot/config.txt file:
