The MSR™ MicroWorks™ EX water filter allows you to connect a Nalgene™ water bottle and pump purified water into it. If however you prefer Platypus™ foldable bottles, you can't attach them. This adapter allows you to securely attach this type of bottle to the filter, so you can concentrate on pumping and don't have to use your third hand to hold the bottle.
Even though it looks like it might, this doesn't fit standard PET bottle threads.
Usage: screw adapter into the filter. Screw bottle into the adapter. Pump. When full, disassemble in reverse order (and always stay hydrated!)
