After dreaming this up for awhile, I finally got it to work!
This is a swinging drift clip. The base and top come together in a 45 degree angle that allows the top to swing back to the straight position after hit.
The holes in the top and bottom are there for springs to help it center if you need it for your track design.
The diamond that hangs down *should be low enough to hit the wall of your track. If not, there is an alternate part with an extension that hangs down further.
The bottom prints flat on the printer, no supports required.
The top prints upside down, no supports required.
