The shade will limit the amount of light emitted by the light in the horizontal direction, essentially making it a spotlight. Designed for the Philips Hue E14 luster light bulb, though it might fit on other brands too.
If you are printing it in vase mode, I recommend choosing at least 0.80mm extrusion width. You can make this lower or higher depending on how much light you want it to pass.
I printed the shade in vase mode with a 0.40mm nozzle, a default extrusion width of 0.80mm, and external perimeters of 0.80mm. I used white PETG.
Recommended print settings (PrusaSlicer):
- vase mode (spiral vase)
- extrusion width of at least 0.80mm
- one perimeter
- no top solid layers
- 0% infill density
- no support material
- Ensure vertical shell thickness enabled
- Detect thin walls disabled
Warning! Make sure the bulb you are using does not get too hot!
