This is a mount for a small smoke detector. I made it for this smoke detector (https://www.tindie.com/products/niujl123/smoke-alarm-for-3d-printer/), which can cut power to an outlet via RF signal when smoke is detected. I made this to attach to the top of a Sovol SV06, although I'm sure a remixed base will allow someone to attach it to any other printer. The mount should not interfere with the extruder as I limited how much it drops below the frame to snap on.
I printed mine in PETG at 0.20mm layer height, 15% gyroid infill, and have been using it without any problems for 2 weeks now. The smoke detector slides in snugly and vibration from the printer does not make the mount move or fall down.
I found the best orientation to print in is the way I placed it in the file, laying on its side. You will most likely need some supports, and I used the new tree supports “touching buildplate” in Cura 5.3.0 xmas edition and enabling support interface.
