The Lidar Head was designed in context of a university Project
It has the space for 2 Standard Nema 17 Steppers aswell as endstop switches to allow automatic homing to a known position.
In The Project, the STM vl53l1x Sensor was used, with the idea of Scanning a room by creating a point cloud of distances, referenced to known Stepper positions/Sensor angles.
The True XYZ Koordinates can be calculated with the Stepper angles, the Distance and a spherical coordinate System.
Printing:
Support is necessary for just the head as far as i can remember, the other parts dont need it if orientated correctly
