This is a remix of the excellent Garmin Varia mount by Tim Angus. It requires minor assembly but locks in place securely.
Printing instructions:
- Use PETG for strength
- 0.15mm layer height
- Print the main clip with the broader side on the bed. This will allow the longer end of the clip to overhand beyond the hook to where the supports can get to it.
- Enable “Support on the build plate only” for the main clip part. Do not use supports for the other parts.
Assembly instructions:
- Hold the clip upright so that that hole is at the top and the wider side faces away from you.
- Hold the spring so that the raised notches are vertical and facing away from you, then push the spring into the clip. These notches will engage with the Varia's slots.
- Hold the lock-ring with the bed-side away from you and insert it on top of the spring.
- Rotate the lock-ring anti-clockwise by 45 degrees until it locks in place.
Updated to Version 2 April 2023: Lengthened the clip and added another hook for more security.
