I needed an enclosure to hold the 120mm x 38mm fan I bought to ventilate my new ikea lack enclosure. I couldn't find anything pre-made that met these specifications so I made my own.
I printed it in PET-G but it should print fine in PLA. I printed at 15% infill but wish I had done 30% as the low infill resulted in a messy end product. This can be printed without supports as long as the brim is placed on the build plate.
The fan that I have is:
“AC Infinity AXIAL 1238, Muffin Fan, 120V AC 120mm x 38mm High Speed, UL-Certified for DIY Cooling Ventilation Exhaust Projects”
*update- when I went to use this, I found that the side hole for the power cord was not in the correct location and ended up having to cut an additional hole, FYI. Otherwise it does work well.
