I needed an adapter to reduce 7" flex duct work to 6" for my woodshop dust collection system. Unfortunately the HVAC adapters were all too long to fit my need, plus were surprisingly expensive. I decided to design one myself and made a parametric model so I could use the same design for different hose sizes.
The .stl has an OD of 5.85" on one end and 6.85" on the other to slip inside the 6" and 7" duct.
The .f3d file has parametric settings for the ODs, heights and wall thickness so you can adjust it to whatever size you need.
Printed in PETG, .6mm nozzle, 20% fill, and no supports without issue. 1/8" wall thickness allowed me to get the clamp on pretty tight and didn't crack.
