I use USB web cams on both of my Voron2.4r2 printers for 2 years now.
I use a 8mp USB Camera Module with 3.6mm Lens and made the cases for it.
This mount has the following advantages over other full sizes cameras for monitoring prinitng.
- Camera is installed inside the Voron 2.4 frame.
- Camera view is not obstructed by the plexiglass panels.
- Camera view covers the whole printed area.
- Does not decreases print limits.
This camera is connected to a Raspberry Pi 4 with 4GB memory and CPU is always below 0.5 and a few GB of memory always available.
You will also need the following hardware to complete the case and attach it to the top rail.
