Hi there. This is a remix a Dr. Who fan in my life requested, since bowties are cool and they wear glasses, but not a lot of bowties. I engineered the printable bowtie here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2821210 to have a flat back and then extended the edges backward to create a space in the middle for glasses arms to go, but also so there wasn't a lip on either side to catch on objects and allow the holder to be yanked off by obstacles and objects you may rub against.

Printed in petg with .4 layer height and adaptive layers with a deviation of .1, 15 percent infill print speed of 30 with my material, support enabled but you can get away with very little of it. Also, the holes are sized for 6x3mm magnets, but I use horizontal hole expansion .1 to size the hole just a bit larger for my magnets or you end up having to cut them a bit larger. That's for my printer and filament so your miles may vary.

To fit the magnet, make sure you have all four magnets oriented the way you desire so that you don't have only one way to stick the back and front together. place a magnet down on a firm metal work surface, press the holder with the hole aligned onto the magnet and press down with your palm. It should fit very snugly, but if you like you can add a drop of super glue before putting in the magnet. Check the polarity of your magnets and make sure they all run the correct direction, and install the rest in the same manner. Think about it and try them against ones you already have installed before installing as they are a lot of trouble to remove and flip over. The back should be able to attach to either end of the bowtie. (Bonus: if you make think you might make more than one, orient them the same way from one to the next so they will work even if you mix them up.)

The files are oriented in their proper direction for printing. Happy printing!
