Assembly Instructions: Please refer to the attached PDF for a detailed visual guide on assembling the light attachment. You can download it from the ‘Other files’ section, rather than using the link provided by Prusa at the top of the description page. The PDF includes clear, step-by-step images to simplify the setup process.
Design Considerations: To avoid the need for a heatsink and reduce power loss, I opted for lower-powered LEDs. To comply with Dyson's external device power protocol, I included a 24V halogen bulb in parallel with the LED string. This bypasses Dyson's power activation check, which is necessary since the power outlet won't activate without it. This was a necessary compromise for functionality.
Feedback Request: If you know of a more efficient, LED-only solution compatible with Dyson's system, I'd appreciate your insights. I'm open to redesigning for a more compact and efficient model.
