This jig can help you drill perfectly placed perpendicular holes in a speaker or subwoofer baffle.
Includes a parametric Fusion 360 model that can be customized to your project and an stl that is configured for a GSG Audio BTS sub enclosure with a 21" LaVoce driver mounted with ¼" threaded inserts (utilizing a ⅜" threaded insert hole).
Recommend printing upright (as pictured) using bed supports.
Jig use:
- Use drill bit to widen jig's drill guide if drill bit does not fit
- Place speaker into cutout hole and trace each mounting hole onto baffle face
- Remove speaker
- Align edge of jig to center of traced mounting hole circle and scribe line down thickness of baffle
- Align jig's center viewing window to scribed line
- Clamp jig in place
- Drill hole using jig's drill guide
