Works perfectly on Trident 300 and above
You can put 2 spools, one on each side.
In theory, Trident 300 can be used with 4 spools inside.
I haven't checked the 250 size, but it would probably work.
The difference between 250, 300, and 350 is the width space.
Due to the corexy structure, I think the gap between the frame and the bed will be the same (maybe🤔)
The original model uses 608 bearings.
However, if the bearing is too large and the spool is light, there is a high risk of separation, so I used a 688zz bearing. Probably, 608 can be used as the inner diameter is the same at 8mm.
The hole for the bearing cap is 2.8mm. Just tighten the M3 bolt.
The filament guide is optional. It is detachable. You must use a reverse bowden of ID2.5~3. ID2 creates too much unnecessary friction. Two types were uploaded depending on the layer height. If you do not select presupport, support will be provided.
If the height of the frame and floor panel are not the same, use foam tape on the resizable tush side.
I used 2t pc panel and attached it with 1mm foam tape.
The transparent spool in my photo is a 68mm spool, which is larger than the esun 👍
