I wanted to print some Presta valve caps. Unfortunately a lot of the existing models I could find needed weird scaling for the threads to work. I modelled these with the proper #12, 24 tpi found on the Presta valve core.
I made a few different models I thought looked neat, so hopefully you can find something that fits the look you want: smooth, smooth with a hexagonal grip ring, blank cylindrical hexagonal, and one with a Presta core tool built in (these are the ones that I personally use).
use any filament type you want, infill shouldn't matter, just print with enough walls to make it solid. Print with the threads facing up. No supports needed.
If you are printing the valve core version, make sure you have good layer adhesion and dimensional accuracy, as the tool is designed to fit pretty tight over the core.
If you don't like any of the provided models, and just want to make your own with the better threads, I have included a .step version for anyone wanting to remix.
