This is yet another Planetary Explorer Module modular vehicle, suitable for holding multiple 3.75 inch / 1:18 scale action figures.

This vehicle is intended to be a single humanoid + multiple robots vehicle.

The grooves in the wheels accommodate multiple rubber bands for traction. That's so you don't need rubber tires. This is not a static model, the wheels turn and it can move!

Has a small rocket engine on the back for turbo speed, when necessary!

This is not really a new design, it is mostly parts from other designs, just wanted to show one example of how you could combine different parts to make something new! In this version, the wheels are outside of the main body, but you can also have them under the body with a different arrangement of the parts. The wheel base is module so that you can combine to make it as wide as you want. Provided axles for single, double and triple-wide for now. You can also combine multiple wheel bases front to back to make a longer vehicle.

The canopy and robot transport have small 5.0 mm holes to connect accessories such as antennas, laser canons, etc. - see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6244455!

The seat has a removable seatback which has an interior compartment which can be used for smuggling.

Does not require any glue, screws or tools to assemble.

If you need some vintage figures to put in your ship, there are some here: https://www.petesactionfigures.com Or you can print yourself some figures from other designs of mine here on thingiverse!

The different parts all use the "pla snap connector e" that I have also posted separately here to thingiverse. You can also design your own modules that plug in to these, if you use the connector, they will connect! Please let me know, I would love to see them if you make some!

I plan to have one of these up for sale here: https://www.petesactionfigures.com

Enjoy!

Filament: coex3d and atomicfilament PLA tan and green

Notes:

I ran out of tan in the middle of the print so I switched to green. Sometimes that can end up looking good also!

Post-Printing =============

I would assemble everything except the wheels first, then add the wheels, to avoid unintentionally breaking the axles.

Axles may be superglued into the wheels for a permanent setup. Or leave unglued so you can keep on rearranging them.

How I Designed This

Still Tinkercad!
