My Magic the gathering deck box with a magnet lid, wanted to show off the top loader and keep my cards safe and together so I made this thing. normal top loaders slide really nicely into the little slot and the lid will actually hold together with no magnet! the magnet is just there for a little extra piece of mind and really isn't 100% necessary.

This deckbox fits a commander in a toploader and 100 sleeved cards with plenty of space for some extra tokens, while still holding them snug and safe!

Magnets are 12mm x 3mm magnet source brand from home depot, they do fit pretty snug and take extra care to make sure you have the polarity lined up before gluing. (i also trim the edges of the magnet holes with a razor to help them slide in a bit easier.)

If anyone has different magnet sizes, post a comment with them and i will upload a version with those sizes!

works and fits pretty snugly fresh off the bed for me.

I have a few different lid designs up (more coming, if I don't have what you want, post a comment and ill design and upload it!) and two different box designs, a stackable and non stackable. (I DO NOT RECCOMEND THE PLAIN LID! the magnets are strong and the texture on top helps with removing the lid, try and use at least the slotted one.)

The stackable version has a lip on the backside so you can stack multiple boxes without them sliding but I had a bit of trouble with those warping on the print bed (Mine were still usable but just take some extra precaution printing those).

Position and supports:

Print the deck box laying flat on its back and i used a few normal supports placed in the top loader slot to prevent any bridging problems, and one support on the underside of the lid to keep the magnet hole from sagging.

I used the Creality K1 with the following Print Settings:

Layer height: 0.2mm

Infill: 10-20%

Perimeters: 3

For top and bottom layers i like to use the concentric fill option to help the mana symbols come out a little cleaner! i also like how the bottom looks with multi-color silks and this setting.

USE EXTRA BED ADHESION LIKE A RAFT OR SKIRT AND EXTRA BOTTOM SUPPORTS IF PRINTING THE STACKABLE VERSION! (none needed for the normal deck box in my experience.)

I also turned down the bridge speed a bit to help get a cleaner top loader slot.

Please let me know if you have any problems or questions!
